"Sanjuanito Fantasy" is a musical work that exists in three official versions, each with its own unique character and personality:

- String Quartet (2014): written for two violins, viola, and cello, this original version establishes the main theme through a dialogue between the string instruments.
- Violin and Piano (2015): in this version, a violin cadenza briefly explores the variations presented in the work, offering a new musical perspective and highlighting the solo violinist's technique and expression.
- Violin and Percussion Ensemble (2021): written for renowned violinist Diana Melikhova, this version retains the violin cadenza and provides a unique and captivating sonic experience, with a focus on rhythmic texture and interaction between the violin and percussion instruments. T
he percussion ensemble consists of six members, whose instrumentation includes: glockenspiel, vibraphone, two marimbas, percussion (china cymbal, triangle, tambourine, 5 temple blocks, and gran cassa), and contrabass. This instrumentation allows for a wide range of timbres and textures, enriching the work and creating an exciting musical dialogue.

It is worth noting that, although the same work, each version offers a distinct musical sense that leads the listener through new perceptions and sensations, enriching the overall narrative of the piece and highlighting the composer's versatility and creativity.

This work is dedicated to womanhood

SYNOPSIS

Sanjuanito: presents two well-defined elements. On one hand, the exposition of the "leitmotiv", where the entire theme is presented, intertwined with the motif of the second element, of a more rhythmic nature, which focuses on small developments around the Sanjuan rhythm. This movement represents the firmness and beauty of women.

Andante poco pesante: describes sensitivity and intuition, with a soft and captivating nature, tonal and constant. Adagio piú lento: becomes more abstract, increasingly strong, violent... yet intensely beautiful. This is maternity.

Maestoso: the motif resonates, airy, describing the solemnity, pride, and gratitude of being a woman. Adagio agile: starting from a single note, the re-exposition of the work begins. Retaking the rhythmic language of Sanjuan, to return to the main theme of the work, this time more energetic. Reaffirming the feminine essence, in all its splendor, through music.
